Yummy!
In an effort to eat healthier after seriously indulging during the holidays, D and I made the chocolate smoothie recipe from Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman.  It looks decadent and it tastes amazingly good but it uses very healthy ingredients: spinach (no, you can't taste it!), raw cacao powder, dates, frozen blueberries, banana and ground flaxseed.  Kid approved. :-)

Coconut Cookies
My son adores coconut, so when I came across this recipe from Saveur, we decided to do some baking.  Someone who commented on the Saveur site suggested adding salt and some vanilla extract.  So D and I added a pinch of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.  
D's favorite way to bake is in his jammies:
The recipe was very simple (as D says, "easy peasy lemon squeezy") and the cookies were yummy!
